Open laboratory, 2023

Date: 3/5/2024−3/12/2024, 4-5:30pm every day, except 3/5 and 3/7.
Location: Room 407, Engineering Building 1. Everyone is welcome. Just bring yourself.
Non-members at Nagoya University are always welcome, but please email Prof. Kawajiri in advance.

Current undergraduate students at Nagoya University

We welcome students who want to see our laboratories. Please contact Prof. Kawajiri.

Masters and Doctoral admissions

Applications from outside Nagoya University are always welcome. We also accept appliations sponsored by companies. We have a track-record of accepting such students who pursue degrees while working full-tme.
Exams are held twice a year.

Collaborative Research Projects

We have many past and ongoing research projects with Japanese and non-Japanese companies. Please contact Prof. Kawajiri.

Research students (研究生)

We have accepted multiple research students。If you are interested, please contact Prof. Kawajiri first (kawajiri_group(at)pse.material.nagoya-u.ac.jp). After contacting Prof. Kawajiri, applicants need to register at NU-AAS

MEXT Scholarship Applications

Scholarships are available from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Science and Technology (MEXT). Applicants submit their application directly to Japanese embassies or consular offices outside Japan. Applicants will be initially screened by the Japanese embassy or consulate general, starting around April every year. Those who are interested should inquire at the Japanese embassy or consulate general in your country.

In addition to the Embassy Recommendation above, there can be a few openings for applications. The opportunities are very limited. Please contact us if you are interested.
